Senior Account Executive

Strongback is looking for a skilled sales person with at least 5 years experience in IBM software selling. The candidate should have prior experience selling the following solutions:

  • Rational Software (Enterprise Modernization, Security, Application Development, etc)
  • WebSphere Middleware Solutions
  • Lotus Collaboration Solutions

The candidate will have demonstrated solid ability to deliver financial results, while building rewarding relationships with clients and fellow employees. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the solution selling cycle. This includes:

  • Lead generation
  • Lead qualifcation
  • Writing proposals and software quotations
  • Completing software license fulfillment orders
  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Assisting with marketing activities
Prior experience with other vendors such as Red Hat, Novell, VMWare, and Microsoft are also desired, but not required.

Senior Mainframe Consultant

We have a need for an experienced mainframe consultant for a global training project. All training is performed remotely using custom courseware delivered with state of the art virtual classroom technology. Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated leader with strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills. Prior experience with IBM Business Partner is a strong plus. Prior consulting expertise is required. Candidate must be able to work remotely on a contract basis. This current contract is estimated at 3-4 months. Additional projects may follow.
